The serial number 381290 indicates the piano was built in 1963 at the Steinway piano factory located in Long Island City, New York.  The process took approximately one full year to complete by hand with fewer than six thousand Steinways built each year. Piano has been recently evaluated and appraised by a well recognized Northeastern Ohio Steinway authority.  Condition survey indicates the instrument was found to be very conservatively judged   in above average condition musically, mechanically, structurally and cosmetically.  You may purchase this instrument with absolute confidence.
