Description
THE MEG TRANSFORMER: THE RAREST ELECTRIC GUITAR AN EBAY EXCLUSIVE!  ~OVER TWO THOUSAND HITS IN THE FIRST TWO WEEKS~ There's only one MEG Transformer. There’s never been anything like it before, and there will never be anything like it again. The product of over 20,000 total man hours, it's destined to be the last machine prototype of MEG research and development. It's a collector's dream and a gas to play. THE MOST VERSATILE ELECTRIC GUITAR  The MEG Transformer is the most mechanically advanced guitar on the planet. It assumes the character of single or double neck, with the choice of  multiple string configurations using three universally adaptable necks: standard six, baritone and octave twelve. The standard six has an ABM hardtail with roller saddles on a Tune-a-matic style bridge. The sustain is enhanced by the MEG design; The baritone is tuned four steps lower than the six string and has the characteristic big voice that is great for a bedrock sound; The 12 is an amazing experience--it has a sound comparable to an autoharp, zither or dulcimer--and it's tuned like a guitar.. THE MOST COMFORTABLE ELECTRIC GUITAR This is a player's guitar. The necks are as lean as they can get. The standard 6 string has a Buzz Fieten style nut, optimizing intonation. The bodies seem to wrap around the player. In the double neck configuration, the staggered necks on a parabolic body provides an offset presentation that gives a clear view of the lower neck.  THE WORLD’S FIRST: U. S. PATENT NO: 6,194,644 The first and only patent to claim the title “Modular Electric Guitar”. The list of exclusive features is extensive and growing: The first to utilize the neck/tailpiece continuum in different bodies; the first to successfully solve adaptive positioning problems; the first to provide quick rear access to the magnetic pickups; the first full-size carry-on qualified electric guitar; in 1999, it was the first guitar to assume a parabolic shape. There are now pretenders, but ten years after its patent, MEG is still foremost in the evolution of the instrument, and this is the culmination of the MEG concept. THE WORLD’S MOST CAPTIVATING ELECTRIC GUITAR This guitar is a stunner. Visually and acoustically, it does what no other can do. All eyes and ears are on the guitarist when the Transformer assumes control of the stage. DESCRIPTION BODY: All wood components are CNC machine cut in a parabolic, or lens shape for ergonomic comfort; bound cabbage back face veneer over walnut; hard-wired components, stereo neck output separation; 20 coats oil-based finish; NECKS: Northern maple; hemp/graphite reinforced; Seymour Duncan pickups; Grover/Gotoh tuners; bound cabbage back head plates; bone nuts; ABM hard-tail roller bridges and tailpieces; ebony fingerboard, CASE: Custom TKL fitted case; the middle partition doubles as an assembly surface.
