This console has 60 inputs available at mixdown, and a 24 channel internal routing matrix.  The routing system is  controlled via the processor card and this console has a fully functioning membrane "cash-register" panel which allows you to store 4 routing presets.  This console has the VCA group option, though it is currently not set up. This console has 3 stereo outputs and 1 mono output.  Every channel has 2 plasma meters, one showing level in dbVU and the other in ppm. The Left side of the console features 5 - 56 point TT- patchbays featuring all insert points, auxilliary and main outputs.  Below, the producer's desk has been modified to accomodate an additional 4 96 pt. TT Patchbays, with ample desk space left for a DAW.  The overbridge has been modified to be flat to accommodate monitors, but the original leather padded top is included in the auction. This console has been serviced by Louis Benedetti of 81series.com who has described this console as "having more headroom, and hotter output than any desk I've ever seen." This console was recapped about 1.5 years ago. The preamps are tight AND thick.  The EQ's are the best I've used, and a favorite among engineers mixing metal and hard rock.  My favorite parts- Low EQ 100hz makes kick drums thump. rolled up to 300 (coupled with the high pass filter at 100 or so) gives guitars huge bottom end..  Low mid rolled all the way down to 200 is a perfect addition for thin snares and 700 or so makes bass guitars get the paul mccartney pluck. Hi EQ on shelf adds amazing brightness with out being shrill. or crank every knob in the eq up for a seriously grainy distortion (which you can then route to another channel and gain down...) Anyways, this is an amazing sounding desk, every record we have made on it has sounded great. We're considering some restructuring at our studio and can afford to let this go. This is the most affordable Neve console. CONDITIONAs with all vintage consoles regular maintenance on this console is natural. It will need to be inspected and some minor repairs done by the new buyer. This console is/has been used in a professional facility by professional engineers. We are currently recording sessions with it so it is fully functional, however all potential buyers need to be aware that this console is currently NOT in fully refurbished condition. There are small mainly cosmetic repairs that potential buyers can address. We encourage potential buyers to come and inspect the console at our facility in Pittsburgh with their technician.
