Description
Here is another great one from my collection.  It is a 1959-1960 TV Front Vox AC-15.  Rare Black Panel.  These were the first Vox AC-15s.  Although, it has a great jangly Vox clean tone, it has more distortion than the later candy apple red panel AC-15s.  And, black panel TV fronts are far more rare and collectable.  I have only seen a couple in all my years of collecting, whereas I have seen literally dozens of candy panel AC-15s.  Vox Celestion speaker, black panel (great shape), chicken head knobs, and the distinctive paper thin white covering (missing on the bottom).  Channel 1 sounds clear and well, Voxey, with my strat.  Channel 2 has a small hiss, probably a cap or some other small fix.  It was that way when I added it to my collection.  I never bothered to get it serviced, and I will let the winning bidder decide what he wants to do.  I have a huge collection, and just have not had the time or the desire to service it.  Am a busy professional, (not a dealer).  I just played through Channel 1.  This is offered for sale privately, so I reserve the right to pull it down and sell it to the persons I offered it to prior to this listing.  This amp and I were born in about the same year (and on different continents), so I have told you all I personally know about it.  Except, that I paid alot for it because it was so rare, and I needed it to complete a Vox collection.  I have complete Vox, Marshall, Fender, and other amps collections, so stay tuned.  You can email me with any question about anything.  Let the pics be your guide.  You won't find another one of these any time soon.  NO RESERVE.  All sales final, no returns/trades,  sold "as-is" as it is a 48-49 year old amp.  Cashiers check, wire transfer preferred.  Maybe paypal, depending on who the bidder is and the situation.  I will personally pack this amp.  Shipping to the lower 48 states is a flat $250, a significant portion of which I will spend on new packing materials.  I use Fedex, and will insure it.  And the rest of the shipping fee will be used to get it there as safely and quickly as possible, probably air freight.  Any other ebayers besides lower 48 will pay actual shipping costs.  You will need to buy a step up transformer to run this baby at British voltage.  They are easy to come by.  You are gonna like this amp if you are a collector or a player.  Oh yeah, vintage Gibson ES-335 and red strat not included.  These photos are proprietary to me and shall not republished for any reason.  Enjoy.
