This Gibson is done in the BEAUTIFUL NATURAL FINISH which has a higher collectibility  Also, according to info from Gibson's website production numbers table-s-400-ces 24 made in 1957. This opposed to 120 made in 1969!! This guitar is laying faithfully in it's original Gibson Lifton Brown case with plush, hot pink lining. This case is in GREAT condtion and a must have for the vintage Gibson ARCHTOP! I would say ALL original except for where the input jack area which has  cracked. There is padding over this area for protection. A plate for the jack could be added on the outside- The black paint on the heel of the neck is not real common, but Gibson did this on occasion as it's been seen on others. It is normally found just on the back of the headstock. The overall finish is original.
